Unfancied Middlesborough played like it was the FA Cup final. They played with a lot of heart, passion & positive attitude. The got a break through a penalty converted by Stuart Downing much to the amazement of their opponent.
Sorry Toure, but it was a clear foul.
In the second half, Boro didn't rest on their laurels & kept going forward in pursuit of their second goal. In the 50th minute, they were rewarded. Turkish international Tuncay shot from an acute angle & sent every Boro fan in the stadium onto cloud nine.
I screamed in delight when I saw the ball went in.
So for all the boasting that Arsenal were doing, they have finally learned some humility.
I thought after many years in the Premier League, Arsene Wenger would've known better than to boast about going unbeaten throughout the season. Mr. Wenger next time please don't boast, and don't say things like: "watch us go" or "catch us if you can", because you will only invite trouble, not just from Man.United, Chelsea or Liverpool, but even the smaller clubs would have a real go at you.
Final score: Boro 2....Arsenal...1
Was it a good weekend? Nope....it was a GREAT weekend! :o)
